Note: no post-editing can't make a bad picture good, every picture you take must either be as spot on as you can, or with a specific editing scheme in mind, that way you'll get pro photos. Then I use Lr on the phone to show those off, or to say sent them to Insta, etc. But mostly I just synch smart previews from Lr Classic, since they don't count against the storage limits for Adobe's photo plan. I use Photos for lots of rando shots on my phone, and sometimes other stuff I want to share. Like sending a smart object to Ps for processing. But again not as powerful as what Lr Classic can do. Just more powerful in general, although that might not matter depending on what you're doing to the images.Īlso, is there a way to edit the RAW files in a different app outside of Apple Photos? If I set the RAW as the base image (for editing) and then choose to edit it in Photoshop, for instance, it sends a TIFF file to Photoshop, now the raw image which could be opened in camera raw. But Ps and Lr can also use profiles for color correction, use LUTs for different color looks, and so on. Raw Power, already mentioned, can also help. Adobe is also generally faster than Apple at supporting raw from new cameras. Lr and Ps can do more than Apple Photos, as already noted. Two questions: Is LR significantly better than Apple Photos at processing raw images? I have access to LR and PS so I can use them if I need to, but Apple Photos has better syncing and sharing options. Note that Lr non-Classic works on your iPhone, and it's camera has a feature that the Camera.app in iOS doesn't have: raw shooting. I've been using Apple Photos to do this in part because everything syncs with my phone (and it combines my DSLR photos with the ones that I end up taking on my camera too). So I need to triage them, process them, etc. I've found that I end up with a lot of bad photos (underexposed, overexposed, blurry, etc.) as I've been learning how to use my new camera. I'm a new DSLR owner, I mostly shoot pictures of my kids (under 5yo).

Hopefully, at least one of these games will kick the amount of ass we're being led to believe they will. Sounds like the people at Deep Silver have been busy little bees in the years the " Ride to Hell" concept has been dark. There's no release window and more details will be forthcoming in the future. Ride to Hell: Retribution stars outlaw biker Jake Conway who is looking for revenge against awesomely-named rival club The Devil's Hand. Actually, maybe it's not open-world because details like that are still a little thin on the ground despite the fact that Ride to Hell: Retribution is set for release this June for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Windows PC. Well, apparently I didn't because Deep Silver has announced that Ride to Hell is alive and well and that open-world biker game still exists (in some form) as Ride to Hell: Retribution. Unfortunately, that game disappeared shortly thereafter and I wondered if I'd dreamt the entire experience. Hey, do you guys remember way back in, like, 2008 when suddenly, thanks to the likes of FX's biker drama Son's of Anarchy and the Lost and Damned GTV IV expansion, the outlaw biker lifestyle seemed to be the next big thing for fiction to delve into, and then, for about five seconds, there was this open world outlaw biker game called Ride to Hell that was a thing people were talking about?
